Another thought to add here would be contests, perhaps a “Win-a-game” contest or “Win-a-Timecard” to entice customers. I’ll be checking tomorrow and next week on city ordinances, etc.

Great, keep the ideas coming. I can see this thing expanding like crazy. We just need to create a roadmap and a time line so that we can focus on what is needed. Startup is always the hardest, as you need to plan like crazy. Create a todo list and have a check off list to show what needs to be done next.

We are in the discovery phase, gathering information, cost analysis and refining ideas.
We need to come up with a clever name, and start a blog for the business. With my current ISP, I can startup another website including the domain name.

I have found some business plan templates:

I had an Idea awhile back for the name BigByte Internet Cafe  - (With an image of a computer item, a monitor, cpu, or disk with a large bite taken out of it) – Sorta a play on names…But we can continue to brainstorm for another if you don’t like it. Also I was wondering what about scaling back the initial size of the cafe. What about 20 – 25 stations and 5 360′s, PS3′s? Would that cut operational costs by much? Also how about 2 employees to start, or Me, and 1 other. Then we’d only have to “PAY” 1 employee.
