LunchCast – Watch TV for free on the WEB

Monday, November 8th, 2010

Check out the website Filmon.com

Here is a screen shot of what I was able to do:filmonscreenshot

  • Watch Live Tv
  • Record Shows
  • Works with mobile devices
  • Easy to use

I installed the APP on my pc.  It gives you additional options that the web version doesn’t offer.  Full screen mode, what is live, TV guide.

This is the first software that I have seen that actually acts like a TV.  You click the channel and it plays what is live.

The screenshot shows both the web version and the APP running all at the same time.  Pretty cool.

Best part, it is free.  They do have yearly subscriptions for additional features.

Monday, May 3rd, 2010

Will you be able to surf the internet on Wednesday May 5th?  Test your DNS server with this simple java script.  If the test comes back and shows you that EDNS or DNS SEC enabled if “NO”, you will most likely not be able to browse the internet.

You will need to choose a different DNS service such as 4.2.2.2

Note that DNS 8.8.8.8 fails the test

Here are some screen shots showing the test

HULU DESKTOP

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

I highly recommend downloading the HULU desktop application if you hook up your computer to the TV.  It is remote control friendly, so you don’t need to hook up a keyboard to watch videos.  Also note that there is an application for google and youtube videos.
