  • We are still waiting for the update to the Droid.  It should include multitouch and some version of a flash player(10.1). ETA is the first half of 2010.  Watch the video here

  1. Sprint announces the new HTC Evo Android WiMax handset. Has HDMI out and allows up to 5 shared connections. It will have a WiMax radio on board along with CDMA EVDO Rev. A for 3G fallback.  Other radios include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a mini HDMI port for plugging into a TV.  Wi-Fi wireless hotspot for up to five other devices.  4.3-inch display with 800 x 480 pixels (same as HD2).  Qualcomm 1GHz processor.  1GB of built-in memory and 512MB of RAM. 8 megapixel camera.  HD video .  1.3 megapixel user-facing camera for video sharing/chatting. Android 2.1, with HTC’s Sense user interface theme applied, making it a highly personable device.
  2. No pricing  information. Available this Summer.
  3. Verizon will launch its LTE service around June 2011, offering data cards for laptops over 4G service.  This will give Sprint a one year lead over its competition. WiMax network’s 3 Mb/s to 6 Mb/s of average throughput. Android 2.1 operating system.
  4. Toshiba UX600 HDTV – This ultimate TV supports Wi-Fi and VUDU Movies. Starting $1400
  5. RichCopy – Great utility for copying files
